A.A. Milne (Domnhall Gleeson) escaped the brutal horrors of war in an innocent, joyous and magical parallel world as creator of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh. Literary acclaim come, the artist E.H. Shepherd drew Christopher Robin with his teddy bear played by Will Tilson as a young boy and Alex Lawther as the older boy, illustrations that would adorn Winnie the Pooh books. Milne's wife Daphne's (Margot Robbie) always on the look for something to keep her buzzing and her son Christopher Robin, the catalyst for Milne to free himself of past ghosts, stuck in their stuffy social climb world with celeb fame looming. The Sussex woods look good, Frank Cottrell Boyce and Simon Vaughan's script relays that very English way of chatting about the war but it's Domnhall Gleeson and Margot Robbie's accents that leap out and stun you.

Into the woods and look for a bear.
