'An ambitious adrenalin rush corrupt cop thriller'.

The Gerard Johnson-Peter Ferdinando partnership offers an ambitious, manic, sleazy corrupt cop thriller that's very watchable.

Michael Logan (Peter Ferdinando) is a cop on the take. He and his crew ride the corrupt gravy train like kids in a sweet shop but Michael's also a man in turmoil with a bit of a conscience. Working the drugs squad he's top of the heap, an ace at cutting deals with the cash ploughed into his own investment in a Turkish drug smuggling ring. What Michael doesn't need is Taylor (Richard Dormer), a smart ass, smart suited internal investigator probing who'll do anything to bring Michael down and two brutal Albanian brothers (Orli Shuks and Gjevat Kelmendi) taking over the drugs scene with a side line in human trafficking. Whilst probing the Albanian's set up Michael's soft side kicks in when he comes across Ariana (Elisa Lasowski), trafficked by the brothers as a sex slave. Fear and self doubt kick in and it all kicks off.

Peter Ferdinando is convincing as bleary eyed, cocaine sniffer corrupt cop Michael Logan riddled with fear and self doubt and caught in a claustrophobic spiralling descent of madness. Although over-the-top at times, but it's believable and pacey. It would go down well on a late Saturday night with a vindaloo.
