I don't know how to categorise 'Museum Hoiurs.' - quiet, compelling, reflective and unusual.
Anne (Mary Margaret O' Hara), a Canadian travels to Vienna to see a cousin who's in a coma. With little money and time to fill she visits the Kursthistorisches Museum and is befriended by Johann (Bobby Sommer), a security guard who sits quietly in a room full of Breugel paintings.
Johann's voice-over links a series of random connections that reflect on life, art, the pleasure of looking and appreciating and the joy and beauty of Breugel and Rembrant self portraits. Anne visits art and Johann revisits Vienna.
Quiet and subtle. An unusual movie.
