Ethan Renner's (Kevin Costner) always had a distant relationship with his estranged wife Christine (Connie Nelson) and daughter Zooey (Hailee Steinfeld) keeping them at arm's length to keep them out of danger whilst working for the Agency. Now retired he wants to build a relationship with Christine and Zooey and when diagnosed with terminal brain cancer is offered the chance of an experimental drug cure by CIA employee Vivi Delay (Amber Heard) if he'll agree to work for the Agency and hunt down and kill the world's most ruthless terrorist.
Based on a story line by Luc Besson and co-scripted with Ali Hasak, 'Three Days To Kill' gives little beyond a beautifully shot dalliance with Paris and a trite screen lesson in parenting skills as Ethan Renner wades through adrenalin fuelled shootings, torture and mayhem whilst looking for love and forgiveness and a tearful reconciliation with daughter Zooey on a bike.
'You can't be serious?' Incoherent, absurdist a film that could be entertaining film if you need to while away 117 minutes late late night.
