'A won't-let-go high octane journey with electric lead performances. A don't miss, must see.'

It's a competitive cut throat world, dog eat dog and the path to glory's littered with those who've never made it. Just how far will you push yourself to get there?

19 year-old student Andrew Neyman (Miles Teller), a student at an elite Manhattan music conservatory has a dream and it's not just to be a jazz musician, he's going to be the best and skin the drums like his hero Buddy Rich. His father's a failed writer but Andrew's going to make it. Nothing will stand in his way even if it means dumping Nicole (Melissa Benoist), the girl he's sweet on, so be it. That's what Fletcher would do.

Terence Fletcher (JK Simmons), a man with his own unique style leads the top ensemble at the conservatory. If students don't meet his standards he slaps them, calls then cocksuckers, faggots, worthless shit and Andrew's desperate for his approval. Self-confidence hides desperation and fear and Fletcher's there to exploit it.

'Whiplash' is a high octane thriller with electrifying lead performances from Miles Teller and JK Simmons right up to the last beat skinning the drums.
