Gay and HIV positive Israeli ex- paratrooper Saar Moaz lived in London for twenty years and The London Gay Men's Chorus became his other family since he was kicked out of the religious Kibbutz. 20 years later Saar reaches out to his Orthodox Israeli family hoping for reconciliation.

Shot over several years, it's a remarkable achievement that Timer and Batak Heymann persuaded Saar's family to take part in what is a powerful, personal and sensitive portrait of a man coming to terms with himself and his family. Throughout his years in London his orthodox family were always 'there' and now his parents are visiting. A tearful Jewish mother, a macho, ex-paratrooper father who's like something that's jumped out of a Simpsons cartoon strip - 'Can't you just take a Pill?' A visit Israel to finds that little has changed - deep rooted family fears, anxieties and uncomprehending siblings, but there's always hope of reconciliation.

A sensitive, powerful story of love, rejection, ignorance, loneliness and fear. Love, understanding and compassion will bring change and possibly reconciliation.
