37TH CAMBRIDGE FILM FESTIVAL PRESENTS INDIA UNBOXED a series of films from India specially curated by the Cambridge Film Festival for India Unboxed and the Festival of Ideas.

On October 10, 2015, Ridley Scott, Anurag Kashyap, Richie Mehta and Google invited the people of India to share their stories about life in an evolving India - from the ordinary to the extraordinary; personal to profound. The result: India's first fully crowd sourced feature film. INDIA IN A DAY is a story about the lives, loves, hopes, dreams, aspirations and worries of people in a country that is in the throes of dramatic technological, economic, political and sociological change.

61st BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2017 AWARD WINNERS LOVELESS (Best Film), THE WOUND (Best First Feature), KINGDOM OF US (Best Documentary) and THE RABBIT HUNT (Best Short Film) receive the Star of London

The 61st BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express announced this year’s Festival Award-winners at its high profile Awards dinner, at Banqueting House, Whitehall, this evening. Hosted by James Nesbitt and with an address from BFI Chair Josh Berger, guests included Andrea Arnold, Hayley Atwell, Eric Bana, Jessie Buckley, Lily Cole, Jason Isaacs, Adrian Lester, Helen McCrory, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor Joy and this year’s BFI Fellowship recipient, Paul Greengrass.

LONDON EAST ASIA FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2017 PROGRAMME LONDON, 19TH-29TH OCTOBER

Hwang Dong-hyuk’s historical drama The Fortress (2017), receives its international premiere at Odeon Leicester Square as the opening first of this year’s London East Asia Film Festival (LEAFF) It will close with Takeshi Kitano’s latest yakuza film that completes the Outrage trilogy, Outrage Coda (2017). The festival runs 11 days from 19th to 29th October.
