Glyndebourne continues its partnership with Trafalgar Releasing (formally Picturehouse Entertainment) for the 2017 Glyndebourne Festival season with live broadcasts of two new productions; Hamlet (a brand new opera by Brett Dean which has its World Premiere at the Festival) and a new production of Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito. Also screening is a pre-record of one of the best known operas of all time, Verdi’s La traviata (featuring Bolshoi star Venera Gimadieva and “exquisitely conducted” (The Daily Telegraph) by Mark Elder who leads the London Philharmonic Orchestra).
